Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides)
A beautiful evergreen climber with glossy green foliage and wonderfully fragrant white, star-shaped flowers. Perfect for covering walls, fences, pergolas and trellises, and can also be trained as a groundcover.
Growing conditions:
Star Jasmine prefers full sun to semi-shade, with more sun encouraging heavier flowering. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil and water regularly while establishing. Once established, it is reasonably drought tolerant. Provide a sturdy support for climbing and prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage fresh growth. It is hardy and generally easy to grow, making it a lovely choice for screening and creating a lush green backdrop.
