The Rocoto Pepper, also called Tree Chili, is a unique pepper plant that thrives in cooler climates compared to most chilies. It produces thick-walled, juicy fruits with a medium to hot heat level and striking black seeds.
Height & Spread: Grows 1–2 m tall with a bushy habit.
Sunlight: Prefers full sun, but tolerates partial shade in very hot areas.
Soil: Well-draining, fertile soil enriched with compost.
Watering: Keep soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Mulch helps retain moisture.
Temperature: Enjoys mild to cool conditions (10–25°C). More tolerant of frost than most peppers.
