Description

Philodendron Xanadu ‘Winterbourn’ – Growing Conditions
Sun:
Bright, indirect light. Tolerates medium light but avoid harsh direct sun which can scorch leaves.
Water:
Keep soil lightly moist. Water when the top 2–5 cm of soil dries out. Do not overwater—prone to root rot in soggy soil.
Height:
0.8 – 1.5 m
Width:
1 – 2.5 m (spreads wider than tall)
Growth:
Moderate to fast-growing, dense, clump-forming evergreen with a tropical, bushy habit.
Light Conditions:
Performs best in warm, sheltered, semi-shaded positions indoors or outdoors.
Soil:
Rich, well-draining soil (loamy mix with compost, coco coir/peat and perlite).
Watering Needs:
Moderate – prefers consistent moisture but excellent drainage is essential.
Humidity:
Prefers moderate to high humidity (40%+ ideal).
Temperature:
Ideal range: 18–29°C. Protect from cold (below 13°C).
Feeding:
Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
