🌿 PACHYPODIUM LAMEREI – Madagascar Palm
Light:
Thrives in full sun. Place in a bright, sunny spot indoors or outdoors where it receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Water:
Water sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when the plant goes dormant.
Soil:
Prefers a well-draining, sandy or cactus mix soil. Avoid waterlogged conditions.
Temperature:
Enjoys warm conditions between 20–35°C. Protect from frost and cold drafts.
Fertiliser:
Feed with a balanced cactus fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
Growth:
A slow-growing succulent that can reach up to 1.5–2 m tall. It develops a thick, spiny trunk with a tuft of narrow green leaves at the top.
Care Tips:
Handle with care due to its sharp spines.
Ideal for containers, rock gardens, or sunny patios.
Can drop leaves in cooler months — this is normal.
