Mango ‘Sensation’ – Growing Conditions
The Sensation mango is a popular late-season variety known for its sweet, fibreless fruit and compact growth habit. It thrives in warm, frost-free climates with plenty of sunshine. Plant in well-drained sandy or loamy soil, enriched with organic matter. A slightly acidic to neutral pH is ideal.

For best results, provide full sun and a sheltered spot protected from strong winds. Water regularly during establishment and fruit set, but allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Mature trees are fairly drought-tolerant.

Sensation mangoes grow into a medium-sized tree (3–5m), making them suitable for home gardens and smaller spaces. Prune lightly to maintain shape and encourage airflow. Fertilise with a balanced fruit tree fertiliser during the growing season for strong growth and abundant harvests.
