Botanical Name: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis (variegated cultivars)

Sun:
Full sun to partial shade. Best leaf colour and flowering occur in full sun (±6 hours daily), but some afternoon shade is beneficial in very hot areas.
Water:
Moderate to high. Keep soil consistently moist but well-drained. Do not allow to dry out completely.
Soil:
Rich, well-draining soil with added compost. Prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil.

Moderate to fast
Features:
Striking variegated foliage (green, cream, and sometimes pink tones) with large, showy flowers in shades of red, pink, orange, or yellow. Adds tropical colour even when not in bloom.

Care:
Prune regularly to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth
Feed with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season
