Sun: Full sun to partial sun
Water: Low; drought tolerant once established. Allow soil to dry between watering.
Soil: Well-drained, sandy or gritty soil; avoid waterlogged conditions.
Height: 60–90 cm
Width: 90–120 cm
Growth: Slow-growing, forming a neat, symmetrical rosette.
Flowering: Mature plants may produce a tall flower spike after several years.
Features: Architectural blue-green foliage; excellent drought tolerance; low maintenance.
Indigenous: No – native to Mexico.
Edible: No
Care: Plant in well-drained soil and avoid overwatering. Remove old leaves carefully.
Frost: Protect from severe frost.
Best for: Rockeries, succulent gardens, containers, borders and waterwise landscaping.
