Water: Low to moderate. Water regularly while establishing, then allow the soil to dry between watering. Drought tolerant once established.

Growth: Fast-growing, upright perennial shrub.
Features: Striking tall spikes of blue to violet flowers; excellent for attracting bees and other pollinators.
Uses: Feature plant, coastal gardens, Mediterranean-style gardens, borders and rockeries.
Soil: Well-drained soil; tolerates poor and sandy soils.
Care: Remove spent flower spikes after flowering. Avoid overwatering, especially in heavy soils.
Frost: Protect from severe frost; best suited to mild climates.
