Crassula multicava ‘Purple’

Crassula multicava ‘Purple’ is a beautiful, low-growing succulent with rounded, fleshy leaves that develop attractive purple to burgundy tones, especially in bright light and cooler conditions. Its compact growth habit and easy-care nature make it an excellent choice for containers, rockeries, and shaded garden areas.

☀️ Sun

Prefers bright, indirect light to partial shade. It can tolerate gentle morning sun, but protect it from harsh afternoon sun, which may cause leaf scorch. More light generally encourages stronger purple colouring.

💧 Water

Water moderately during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter. Avoid overwatering, as consistently wet soil can lead to root rot.

Approximately 15–30 cm tall.

Approximately 30–45 cm wide, forming a spreading, bushy groundcover.

🌱 Growth

Low-growing, spreading succulent with a compact, mounding habit. It is relatively fast-growing under favourable conditions and can be propagated from stem cuttings.
