Did You Know?
Despite its common name and jasmine-like fragrance, Star Jasmine is not a true jasmine at all but belongs to the dogbane family (Apocynaceae), and its milky sap contains the same latex compounds found in rubber trees, which historically made it a candidate for rubber production in Asia.
