Distinct from its annual cousin, the Perennial Basil is a robust herb known for its longer lifespan and slightly stronger aroma. Its leaves, typically larger and tougher, are used in a similar fashion in cooking. Often adorned with spikes of white or light purple flowers, it also serves as a magnet for pollinators like bees.
