A hardy, indigenous fruit-bearing shrub or small tree prized for its glossy green foliage, dense growth, and sharp thorns that make it an excellent security hedge. In spring and summer, Kei-Apple produces small, fragrant flowers followed by bright yellow-orange fruit with a tangy, apricot-like flavour—perfect for making jams, jellies, or fresh juices. ‘Arrow’ is a selected form known for its upright, vigorous habit and heavy fruiting.
