Description
Angelonia, also known as Summer Snapdragon, thrives best under the following growing conditions:
- Sunlight: Prefers full sun, needing at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
- Soil: Well-draining soil, preferably sandy or loamy, with a pH level of 5.5 to 6.5.
- Watering: Moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, but do not let it remain dry for too long. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
- Temperature: Prefers warm weather and is heat tolerant. Ideal growing temperatures are between 70-80°F (21-27°C). It is hardy in USDA zones 9-11.
- Fertilization: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.
