Calathea (Prayer Plant) – Growing Conditions

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.

Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feel dry.

Soil: Well-draining, rich potting mix with good organic matter.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity. Mist regularly or use a humidifier, especially in dry climates.

Temperature: Ideal between 18–26°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
